Q. Will you host a VMWare image that [the customer] created?

A. Yes, we will be glad to host your image

Q. Can we try HMon's virtual hosting services before committing?

A. Yes. You may host your virtual machine for up to 30 days on a trial basis.

Q. Can we host our virtual machine for a short period of time?

A. Yes. Our standard contract term is three months.

Q. Will you host Windows virtual machines?

A. Absolutely. Most of our hosted virtual machines are Windows servers.

Q. How do you protect virtual servers from each other?

A. Each customer has a dedicated VLAN and our host servers have dot1q trunks to Cisco switches. Each VLAN is protected either by a dedicated and discrete vlan interface on our firewalls or by the customer's own security measures. Each vlan is literally completely separate from all other machines.

Q. Will it cost less if [the customer] provides their own storage?

A. Yes. All we ask is that you discuss your specific storage devices with us first.

Q. Are your host servers high quality servers?

A. Yes. All host servers are Dell 2900 or comparable with SAS RAID arrays for the system, redundant power, and are capable of picking up additional loads if another server fails.

Q. Is HMon's network stable?

A. Yes. We have experienced better than 99.9% uptime in the past three years. We have redundant connectivity, multiple ISPs with BGP routing, as well as generator power backup. We are also in the process of implementing solar power with grid backup for even greater independence from outside entities.

Q. Why are our prices lower than most other companies?

A. We built our network from day one with low overhead in mind. Additionally, with a great emphasis on virtual server technology, facilities such as electricity, cooling, and even the benefit of needing a much smaller generator, all save dramatically on overhead costs.

Q. Will HMon consider special pricing structures for unique customer needs?

A. Absolutely.
