HMon Success: OnePage
The challenge : Build a web based portal so that clients of Market One Communications, LLC. can view and work with the sales leads generated by their call center.
The key to success would be the ability for clients to use this as a sales force management tool, and work within the system to perform their day to day tasks...something much more user friendly than typical contact management software, and something much more comprehensive than a list of leads.
The result : OnePage . This site, written in ColdFusion CFML, is hosted on two of our dedicated server platforms, each with muitiple encrypted paths to the call center data, and each in a different location for maximum availability.
Key features:
- Multiple levels of administration: System administrator, Client Sales manager administration, and self administration.
- Cross-client capabilities
- Custom user-definable group views, typically used for regional sales managers.
- Automatic lead assigmnent and notification. This is done via a lead assignment matrix, capable of assigning by zip code range, state, or county/state combinations.
- Advanced reporting and report builder capabilities.
- User defined lead management: The users can manage all of their their opportunities in the same place that they manage those generated by the call center.
- EASY and user friendly. The screens aren't cluttered with more buttons than they can possibly comprehend, and the user can quickly get the information that they need.
An unforeseen success : Along the way, we considered the problems that we face in tracking our own sales opportunities, and we built the system with that in mind. As a result, clients find the system EXTREMELY easy to work with and most clients use it everyday. Some have continued to use OnePage for their sales opportunity management and sales force administration long after the call center finished their duties. In many cases, clients called it a "no brainer" to abandon some of the popular online CRM services and use OnePage instead.
